Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist, Somatic Sexologist, Nervous System Recovery Coach, and Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine. She is the founder and director of You’re A Strong Woman Foundation: Domestic Violence Prevention and Recovery. Kate is also an ambassador for Stop Domestic Violence Australia and New Zealand and is passionate about creating global impact through nervous system healing and embodied empowerment.

As a leading expert in somatic therapy, nervous system recovery, and sexual empowerment, she combines her extensive training and experience to support individuals in reclaiming their voice and power by embodying deeper self-trust, safety, autonomy, and self-worth.

She offers embodied therapy, somatic education, and nervous system recovery to individuals and couples, while also facilitating transformative workshops for groups. With years of experience in fitness, health, breathwork, bodywork, transformation, plant medicines, and the shamanic arts, Kate brings a unique and integrative approach that inspires, enlivens, and awakens. She is an engaging speaker with a natural passion for sharing compelling stories, references, and rich personal experiences. She excels at bridging the gap between science and spirituality, delivering her wisdom in a grounded and practical context that motivates and offers new perspectives.

Kate’s expertise extends beyond somatic therapy and sexual empowerment. She brings over a decade of experience in plant medicine, having completed four medicinal plant dietas in Peru and participated in more than 80 Ayahuasca ceremonies, along with numerous personal and group journeys with Psilocybin, Huachuma, and 5-MeO-DMT. These profound experiences have shaped her trauma-informed, body-based approach to healing and integration. As a somatic therapist, she uses embodiment practices and nervous system regulation to support deep healing, creating a safe, judgment-free, and compassionate space for people to embody lasting change.

Kate brings warmth, authenticity, integrity, and presence to her work, welcoming people of all genders, sexualities, and relationship preferences.

Having survived intimate partner domestic violence, Kate is deeply committed to raising awareness of domestic violence, trauma, and abuse, to empower victims/survivors throughout their recovery journey.
